Can’t sleep i think i have insomnia. someone help with advice?
Insomnia i’m facing:
I haven’t been able to sleep at all it’s 3:32 where i am at. I find myself up ALL night and when i do fall asleep i find myself waking up more than once. I can say I’ve been stressed out but I’m not just tired at all.

Should I go to my doctor and ask for sleeping medicine, mind you I am only 18.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I suggest that you not see a Doctor for sleeping pills as they are addictive and, eventually, you’ll get so use to them that they also will not help you sleep. Then you will have to see a Dr. to get rid of the addiction.

Suggestions:

1. Try a cup of warm milk. There are enzymes in warm milk that make you sleep – that’s why warm milk helps babies sleep. If you can’t tolerate warm milk, try hot chocolate it also works but make it with milk, not water.

2. Put 2 cups of Epsom’s salts in a tub of water and soak in it for a half hour. At a couple of drops of lavender essential oil (you can find it in any bath and body type shop). You can find Epsom’s salts in a grocery store or pharmacy. Lavender oil relaxes you and so does Epsom’s salts in warm water.

Ive had that too for a while, I say try and get melatonin if you can, its a completley natural sleeping agent chemical that your brain makes anyway, it just pumps up the dose a bit and is completley safe. its not super super strong stuff, but it zonks me out at night.

Why don’t you try walking at night I believe walking is good for stress or exercise if your into it. Lay off caffeine and try taking triptophane its a vitamin it has the same thing turkey has in it.You ever notice people sleep after eating turkey? It’s triptphane.If that doesn’t help see a Dr.
